Hello from Nashville, Sat 3/29

Good morning.  So like all things this Nashville thing has been more than we were bargining for.  We were to stay for free with Sam at his company’s condo.  Well one other guy decided to stay over the weekend as well so we had to book a hotel.  At the last minute Friday, departue day I realized the hotel we booked was not very nice at all.  To top that off the realator said it was a bad area of town.  We hurried up and booked another hotel that cost about 100 more for the three days.  This room ROCKS!!  It’s a suite but not like the two room suites you are used to.  .  There is a small sitting area with couch, otterman and desk, a wet bar area oh and a HUGE flat pannel TV.  On the other side of a 6 foot wall is a king size bed that looks at the vanity area.  It smells new.

Ok so now that we are here the guy that works with Sam said we could stay at the condo.  As always too late.  Last night we ate at one of those Mongolian bbq places.  It was really good and not very expensive.  Then we were off to downtown Franklin to a music cafe.  There were 5 people sitting in a circle on bar stools with microphones and guitars in the front of the joint.   They are not a group but 3 random people that the lady invited to join her.  They take turns “picking” out a song (and telling you who they wrote it with and why) and then they just play along.  It was nice, but IMO that kind of stuff is for warm nights sitting out on a patio talking with your friends.  The cafe served beer and for $5 you can bring your own wine and they will cork and poor it for you.

So today we are suposse to head out to look at houses after we fix turkey sandwiches for Sam.

Off to get the pictures.
