Dog Log day 5 and 6

Day 6

This morning someone was a little dream dog.  First of all he never left the bedroom while I was sleeping.  This morning when I got up he came to the bed.  I gave him a little pat on the head and told him he needed to go back over and lay down while I took a shower.  OMG he did just that.  They all also stayed in bed until I was dressed with make up, like how my normal day goes.

OK I thought things were going well.  But someone chewed up my new ($9) cutting board while I was out to dinner.  So Cocoa is a good dog except for chewing that up, peeing on stuff and letting the dogs out of the bed room.  😉  He is currently licking us like crazy.  Maybe that is his way of saying he’s sorry.  He does this cute little dance when you scratch that spot just before his tail.

Day 5

So Tuesday was a rough day.  We came home from lunch to find that the barrier had been violated and the dogs were LOOSE! That wouldn’t be so bad but the trash can had been knocked over trash and coffee grinds all over the floor with the added bonus of pee on my otterman cube. .  BTW did I mention I have cream colored berber carpet?  Well we shove the HERD outside and start cleaning including hauling out the carpet cleaner.  That is what everyone does when they go home for lunch, right?

So we depart for the rest of our work day and build a bigger, badder, more gooder and even better than that barrier to keep them in.  Upon my departure and cookie delivery I gave each one of them a stern talking to.  This seems to have worked.
