Either a small party or a small meeting. Since I have just gone through looking for locations for both I thought I would share what I currently know about the local area.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sportsman Grill\n<ul>\n<li>Back room holds 40. Day min $300 night $400. Can limit menu choices.<\/li>\n<li>Has TV and you can connect to it.<\/li>\n<li>$$$$$$$$ weekends.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Stoney River\n<ul>\n<li>3 rooms hold 30 each, 2 of them together 60.<\/li>\n<li>$2400 min<\/li>\n<li>Has TV<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>JJ Wine bar\n<ul>\n<li>Holds 20 people<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Connors\n<ul>\n<li>50 people<\/li>\n<li>72\u201d TV<\/li>\n<li>Lunch $300 min<\/li>\n<li>S-Thur $1500 min, $200 room charge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Aloft\n<ul>\n<li>Meeting room +Tax = $400 ish<\/li>\n<li>Holds 30 people<\/li>\n<li>They have a bar with specials, sounded like it might be fun but wasn\u2019t private<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Amerigo\n<ul>\n<li>Weekday \u2013 back room $640 min (includes bar tabs etc), can limit menu<\/li>\n<li>Their catering is a great price.<\/li>\n<li>Has TV<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>TinRoof\n<ul>\n<li>Upstairs holds 35 seated \/ 50 standing<\/li>\n<li>Is open to the bottom floor and they are willing to turn down music but Tues is Trivia night.<\/li>\n<li>$12 per person Spread of Chx quesadillas, turkey club sandwiches, hot wings, chips &amp; salsa, French fries.<\/li>\n<li>You can just order off the menu. They will run tabs per person.<\/li>\n<li>Has TV<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Frothy Monkey (Franklin)\n<ul>\n<li>Didn\u2019t call their site at the time didn\u2019t have menus up.<\/li>\n<li>No screens or TVs in the upstairs area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Black Abby\n<ul>\n<li>Open to the public 3-8 pm W-F, Sat 12-8 and Sun 12-6, can bring a party in during those times.<\/li>\n<li>They have seating for 40<\/li>\n<li>Private event $500 + gratuity, includes 100 pints of beer. You bring your own catering.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Cool Springs Brewery\n<ul>\n<li>Upstairs has TV and is open to the floor below, sometimes noise can be an issue.<\/li>\n<li>Has a private room that holds like 10-12. There is a TV in there not sure how easily it can be reached.<\/li>\n<li>No min\/ will run individual tabs.<\/li>\n<li>If you want to supply some snacks they do some large size chips &amp; dip and suggest the middle pizza cut in squares.<\/li>\n<li>We used a portable speaker with wireless microphone without issue and connected to the TV with a Microsoft device. No podium.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Kings Bowl\n<ul>\n<li>Private events are $$$$.<\/li>\n<li>No display available for non-private events.<\/li>\n<li>Their Draft room has a great HAPPY HOUR with \u00bd price appetizers and drink specials. We went there with a group of 10-12 (cheapest meeting ever $50).<\/li>\n<li>They also have a deal you can make a reservation, eat and get priority bowling.\n<ul>\n<li>This would be a no presentation just social.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Whole Foods (Franklin)\n<ul>\n<li>They have a community room, at one time they were willing to let us come there but they worried about hurting their dinner crowd.<\/li>\n<li>The wine bar doesn\u2019t sell any food any more, but does pour high grav beer. They also let you go buy a bottle of wine and open it there. They sell pizza, the hot bar and pasta for certain.<\/li>\n<li>Would need projector and screen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Bricktops (Franklin)\n<ul>\n<li>Won\u2019t make reservations for large groups last time I called. It was a take a chance kind of thing. Nothing private for presentations.<\/li>\n<li>Their happy hour is pretty good with special drinks and apps\/Sushi on special.\n<ul>\n<li>This would be a no presentation just social.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>New Heights Brewing\n<ul>\n<li>Private opening is $500.<\/li>\n<li>Can ask about just bringing a group in. I don\u2019t think they have food.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Brentwood Library\n<ul>\n<li>Has rooms not sure if you can get it if you are political. They don\u2019t charge but you have to live in Brentwood.<\/li>\n<li>They have strict rules about trash but allow you to bring your own food and drinks.\n<ul>\n<li>We never pursued this because of the trash, if some throws something out with liquid in it you are done.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Arrington Vineyard\n<ul>\n<li>They have several meeting &amp; space options. They are a little costly depending on what you are wanting to do. There is no food so you will need to bring catering.<\/li>\n<li>All of the space at the vineyard is open and free to use on a first come first serve basis. This works well for small &#8211; medium size groups.\n<ul>\n<li>This would be a social event unless you are renting space.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Bar Louie (Murfreesboro)\n<ul>\n<li>Non-weekend days they are pretty accommodating and have 2 large tables along one wall that are off to the side.<\/li>\n<li>They have a nice happy hour with 1\/2 price food and drink specials.\n<ul>\n<li>This would be a social event.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The Parthenon (Murfreesboro)\n<ul>\n<li>They have three private spaces that can be used in combination. Their minimum is pretty low (last year all three rooms were $1500 and one is in the $600 range.)<\/li>\n<li>They let you set a menu, order freely off the menu (I don&#8217;t recommend it screws up the kitchen) and run separate bar tabs.<\/li>\n<li>There isn&#8217;t a screen\/TV.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Embassy Suites Cool Springs\n<ul>\n<li>They have a bar area and lots of open space. You might be able to work something out where you could have 15-30 in a private spot and then proceed to the sports bar. We held the after party for SQLSaturday there 2 years ago.<\/li>\n<li>Otherwise it is renting a meeting room and purchasing all food through them (not recommended as it gets costly)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Granite City\n<ul>\n<li>They have a private room and are flexible on the $ during the week. It was too costly for our group.<\/li>\n<li>Has TV and you can connect to it.<\/li>\n<li>They also do catering.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Mellow Mushroom (no space)<\/li>\n<li>Franklin Visitor Beau (didn\u2019t call)<\/li>\n<li>Martin Center ($$$$$ didn\u2019t call, it\u2019s online)<\/li>\n<li>Outback (was suggested, didn\u2019t call)<\/li>\n<li>Michael&#8217;s (craft store) &amp; JoAnn Fabric\n<ul>\n<li>Both have a SMALL room, no projector or screen (not even a blank wall).<\/li>\n<li>Holds 6-8 (maybe 10)<\/li>\n<li>Allows you to bring any food and it&#8217;s free<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Logan&#8217;s Roadhouse\n<ul>\n<li>Can book the garage at no charge.<\/li>\n<li>No projector or screen and the garage door is clear glass, light might be an issue.<\/li>\n<li>They have happy hour!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have something you&#8217;d like me to add to my list, please shoot me an email and I would be more than happy to update it!<\/p>\n<p>3\/20 adding a couple places I forgot.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It seems to me that every time I turn around someone is looking for a venue to do something.
