{"id":145,"date":"2008-07-23T12:45:05","date_gmt":"2008-07-23T16:45:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/clarkcreations.net\/blog\/?p=145"},"modified":"2008-09-05T07:48:55","modified_gmt":"2008-09-05T11:48:55","slug":"gwen-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/clarkcreations.net\/blog\/gwen-update\/","title":{"rendered":"Gwen &#8211; update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #1f497d\"><font face=\"Calibri\">Ok we are finally home!\u00a0 <o:p><\/o:p><\/font><\/span><span style=\"color: #1f497d\"><o:p><font face=\"Calibri\">\u00a0<\/font><\/o:p><\/span><span style=\"color: #1f497d\"><font face=\"Calibri\">Gwen has a ruptured\/slipped otherwise unhappy disc in her neck.\u00a0 This is an issue because if not corrected she could become paralyzed.\u00a0 They are extremely confident that she can be treated without surgery.\u00a0 Which is excellent news!\u00a0 The only other good news was that the bill was only $46 including her meds.\u00a0 Her standing around holding one foot in the air is the same thing that happened to me with the sciatic nerve, guess her foot tingles too.\u00a0 <\/font><\/span><span style=\"color: #1f497d; font-family: Wingdings\">J<\/span><span style=\"color: #1f497d\"><font face=\"Calibri\">\u00a0 They are requesting that we contain her to a crate for the next 4 weeks.\u00a0 She can go outside 4 times a day and if she feels pretty good about 10 min of walking around is allowed.\u00a0 The pills will make her really thirsty and very hungry (like that can get any worse?).\u00a0 She should be restrained to her crate at all times and harnessed when outside.\u00a0 We need to buy her a harness ASAP!\u00a0 If we think she is lonely we are allowed to \u201ctie\u201d her to the couch next to us.\u00a0 Wonderful.<o:p><\/o:p><\/font><\/span><span style=\"color: #1f497d\"><o:p><font face=\"Calibri\">\u00a0<\/font><\/o:p><\/span><span style=\"color: #1f497d\"><font face=\"Calibri\">Gwen is old and has had a heart murmur for some time.\u00a0 They would like to do a few test and see how bad it is.\u00a0 He was guessing that on a scale from 1-6 she is probably a 3.\u00a0 Complications caused by this could be her liver having to work so hard, which during the exam they could not \u201cfeel\u201d any of her organs up there.\u00a0 They are optimistic that it is because she is so tense.\u00a0 So they are concerned about those organs and would like to look at them.\u00a0 Also her teeth need cleaned, haven\u2019t done that cause of the heart murmur, but apparently dirty teeth make it worse. \u00a0<o:p><\/o:p><\/font><\/span><span style=\"color: #1f497d\"><o:p><font face=\"Calibri\">\u00a0<\/font><\/o:p><\/span><span style=\"color: #1f497d\"><font face=\"Calibri\">So it looks like in 4 weeks if she is better we will be \u201ctreating\u201d and testing some of her other issues, for now she is locked in the bedroom by herself.\u00a0 <o:p><\/o:p><\/font><\/span><span style=\"color: #1f497d\"><o:p><font face=\"Calibri\">\u00a0<\/font><\/o:p><\/span><span style=\"color: #1f497d\"><font face=\"Calibri\">This has been a very stressful day for the both of us, as a matter of fact I got bit trying to get her out of the car.\u00a0 Man that ungrateful bitch.\u00a0 Maybe I should go make her some breakfast \u2013 she didn\u2019t get that today.\u00a0 <o:p><\/o:p><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ok we are finally home!
