So the other night I was at a loss for something to make for dinner.\u00a0 I can’t make anything that would create left overs cause I am leaving for KBNA soon.\u00a0 So I decide I am gonna make some pasta and basically just throw some stuff in a pan.\u00a0 Now I do have an idea that I want to use pesto and the wonderful chicken asiago cheese and spinach sausage.\u00a0 I also am thinking about all the wonderful things I enjoy putting on my home made pizza.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We start with the penne pasta, of course Barilla Plus<\/a>we want to be healthy.\u00a0 While that is underway I get a skillet and toss 2 sliced up sausage links.\u00a0 Once they were browned I added 2 cloves of the previously roasted garlic and a dash of olive oil.\u00a0 Then tossed into the pan were some diced roasted red peppers and sun dried tomatoes.\u00a0 Drain the pasta, add to fry pan and dump 2 oz of basil pesto stir until warm remove from heat and plate.\u00a0 Top with Parmesan cheese and serve with garlic bread slices.\u00a0 I failed at the picture taking mostly because there was the uncertainty of if this dish would taste like anything worth while.\u00a0 Since we are here and talking about it I have to say it was YUMMY!!!\u00a0 Do try this yourself.\u00a0 It was quick and easy all of the items I had frozen and was easy to prep for use.<\/p>\n
