{"id":430,"date":"2011-03-02T09:09:00","date_gmt":"2011-03-02T15:09:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/clarkcreations.net\/blog\/?p=430"},"modified":"2011-02-21T20:48:23","modified_gmt":"2011-02-22T02:48:23","slug":"brioche-dough-part-3-of-3-cinnamon-rolls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/clarkcreations.net\/blog\/brioche-dough-part-3-of-3-cinnamon-rolls\/","title":{"rendered":"Brioche Dough Part 3 of 3  ~ Cinnamon Rolls"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It has started to be a Christmas tradition that I make cinnamon rolls on Christmas Eve to be baked and enjoyed on Christmas morning.\u00a0 I have done this several years and have delivered unbaked pans of rolls to friends and family to make themselves.\u00a0 But since we are here in Nashville it&#8217;s just the 2 of us with no family and friends to deliver to.\u00a0 That is why this multi purpose dough is working out so well.\u00a0 So here we go!<\/p>\n<p>Grab about a pound of dough from your dough bucket in the fridge.\u00a0 On a floured surface start working the dough and roll it out.\u00a0 I ended up with a nice rectangle.\u00a0 See the dough on the left edge?\u00a0 That is for the Brioche rolls for Christmas Dinner.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"_IGP7645 by tclarkcreations, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/photos_by_tammy\/5332061352\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5124\/5332061352_7d63acef7f.jpg\" alt=\"_IGP7645\" width=\"500\" height=\"334\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ingredients for the good stuff.<\/p>\n<p>1 cup light brown sugar(packed)<br \/>\n1 tablespoon ground cinnamon<br \/>\nPinch salt<br \/>\n1 1\/2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted<\/p>\n<p>Mix the dry ingredients. I don&#8217;t currently have light brown sugar so I just mixed about 3\/4 cup of dark with 1\/4 cup of white sugar. Spread the butter on the dough, sprinkle with the dry ingredients.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"_IGP7647 by tclarkcreations, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/photos_by_tammy\/5331450141\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5247\/5331450141_433bd91203.jpg\" alt=\"_IGP7647\" width=\"500\" height=\"334\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Roll and cut into the desired size of rolls. Mine were about 1&#8243;. Place into a prepared pan. Cover and rise 45 min &#8211; 1 hour. Once again I left mine covered on the counter until KLT woke up so more like 2 hours or more. While I was waiting on the rise of both the rolls and KLT I tossed together frosting for the cinnamon rolls. He likes cream cheese frosting so I took a couple ounces of cream cheese (softened) and mixed with powder sugar and vanilla, loosening it up with some cream. I made traditional frosting for myself; a couple tablespoons of butter (softened), powder sugar, vanilla and cream.<\/p>\n<p>I baked at 350 until done, see this is going to be an individual basis. I did these up again a few days later but made less of them &#8211; it took less time to bake than this batch. Just watch them.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"_IGP7660 by tclarkcreations, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/photos_by_tammy\/5332062596\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5090\/5332062596_2fae22f2e8.jpg\" alt=\"_IGP7660\" width=\"500\" height=\"334\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As a fun thing to take to work, I took a ~1lb ball of dough and broke it into 3 chunks.\u00a0 I rolled each one out and use the above method to fill, I then cut them into much smaller more bite sized rolls.\u00a0 I fit them into a pan, covered and placed in the fridge till morning.\u00a0 We set them out around 6 am and preheated the oven.\u00a0 About 6:30 I put them in the oven but they took about 40 min to cook.\u00a0 The good news is the boss&#8217;s boss said it&#8217;s okay to be late if you bring cinnamon rolls and that I could actually book the time to our KTBR (keep the business running).\u00a0 \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It has started to be a Christmas tradition that I make cinnamon rolls on Christmas Eve to be baked and enjoyed on Christmas morning.
