Well we stopped at the Eagles last night to watch the patriots and have a drink.\u00a0 I am sure my step-dad is thrilled, the Pats are his team.\u00a0 I sent him a couple text messages to let him know I was watching.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42\u00a0<\/p>\n
So this morning just before 4 am I discover that I am in bed alone.\u00a0 I wonder around the house and can’t find KLT.\u00a0 What the heck? This place isn’t that big.\u00a0\u00a0He is in the “laundry” room with the door closed, oh and I have to add he is wrapped in a blanket.\u00a0 He was suffering from an unhappy tummy and determined that it was unusually cold (59 degrees).\u00a0 So he was in looking at the furnace trying to figure out what was wrong.\u00a0 Yeah, that ended with us plugging in the two radiator style heaters that I have and going back to bed.\u00a0 Fast forward to now\u00a0 \ud83d\ude41 Still no heat.\u00a0 I followed the instructions on the furnace for turning off the gas, power and thermostat and starting over.\u00a0 No luck.\u00a0 I don’t think that the igniter is working.\u00a0 My igniter clicks a lot before starting – no clicking but the fan is running.\u00a0 So the gas is turned off and a call has been placed to the heating guy.\u00a0 Kerry still owes him money so I hope he doesn’t just ignore my call.\u00a0 For those of you reading from your warm cozy homes the current temp in the big living area is 66 degrees, it is probably a tick cooler in the kitchen but that’s ok.\u00a0 The ceiling fans have raised the temp 1 degree already.\u00a0 My only concern is that I don’t think we should leave the house and leave these things running.\u00a0<\/p>\n
I guess I should start cooking stuff to heat the house and maybe do that dump the dryer vent into the house thing that Geoff was talking about.\u00a0 It’s perfectly safe he did the research and as an added bonus it is moist heat so you get the benefit of adding moisture to the air.\u00a0 I can’t tell you how important that is.\u00a0 I have been running the humidifier at night and my “outdoor” fountain 24\/7.\u00a0 That fountain needs 48 ounces of water added every 3 days or so.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
