KLT has just gotten up to get ready.\u00a0 He has a training session today.\u00a0 The best part of today is that we are going to the Black Angus Steak house for dinner.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 WOOOT!<\/p>\n
So just to catch everyone up.\u00a0 Yesterday we picked up a boat at the Willow Beach Marina, Arizona.\u00a0 It was a 16′ metal craft with a nice awening.\u00a0 KLT has never driven a boat so this was quite interesting.\u00a0 We went up the Colorado River in search of hot springs and a glipse of the dam from down below.\u00a0 The water moves VERY fast, almost scary.\u00a0 The water is also OMG clear.\u00a0 You can see everything including a school of LARGE fish.\u00a0 We ran into some shallow areas, 3 to be exact.\u00a0 I thought for sure our ass was dragging the bottom.\u00a0 But we managed.\u00a0 It was amazing.\u00a0 We saw the dam and stopped at one spring, which of course with out proper shoes I couldn’t get to the actual source.\u00a0 There was a group camping at that sight, they were nice and that was really neat to see.\u00a0 I still don’t know about shitting in the wilderness but hey if that floats your boat.\u00a0<\/p>\n
On the road again we head for a quick drive across the damn back into Las Vegas.\u00a0 There was a fancy sports car behind us, I will wait for Geoff to positively ID it before saying.\u00a0 As we drove across KLT and I were like “Yeah we were just there, No down there!”<\/p>\n
Ah the Luxor.\u00a0 First stop the cattle line to check into the hotel.\u00a0 MOOOOO!\u00a0 Then to our room up the funky elevator.\u00a0 That my friends is seriously not right.\u00a0 I could feel the floor shift funny.\u00a0 The room is clean but a far cry from what I am used to while in Vegas.\u00a0 The bottom drawer of the dresser doesn’t work, the shower drawer doesn’t work, there are no electrical outlets where you need them, we have to pay $15 a day for a fridge, there is a “desk\/makeup table” that can’t be either due to ligting and lack of electricity and the bathroom sucks.\u00a0 We did however rearrange the furniture last night to make things better for us.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
