Nashville didn’t have a SQLSAT last year, we lost the venue and that is about all I know on why there wasn’t one. But what I do know is that we are having one this year. October 13, 2012 (Does that date ring a bell? Like a wedding bell?) that is the date for Nashville’s SQLSAT. I am so excited as this lineup is looking to be AWESOME! There are several pre-cons on Friday that you might not want to miss. But the good news is that I am presenting here. I am a tick nervous that the organizers picked the session I have not tried yet and that agreed to have Kerry as a co-presenter. We are doing “So you’re a SQL N00B” Hoping to provide quick tips and helpful hints to a rapidly growing group of professionals who suddenly find themselves staring down a SQL Server. All in all it will be a great time!!
My home is your home, so #sqlfamily please let me know if you need anything. There will be many shenanigans I am certain. Josh has already printed off Cards Against Humanity.
Kerry and I are planning a dinner for those arriving early, Thursday. We will be having butternut squash lasagna, bread, salad and desert. You won’t be disappointed even my dad likes this lasagna. I know no other details about this fine event but will keep you posted as I find out. If you didn’t get the hint Saturday will be our 1 year passaversary. It is incredibly awesome that many who were there will be here to celebrate again!
If there is a need for any after-after locations we may be south of town but we are damn fine host!
Hope to see you there!
