Well beleive it or not we were up early, like 6:30 am early. So we pecked at the computers for an hour then got ready for our big day. We stopped last night at Wal*Mart to get provisions for the day, sub sandwiches and roll ups. Excellent! Off we went, destination The Valley of Fire. The oldes National Park in Nevada, dedicated once in 1934 and again in 1935. It was just amazing. We saw just about everything but we did leave a few things for the next time. I have a metric ton of pictures to go through tonight. I fed one of the ground squirels peices of my tortillia just to get pictures. More about this later.
Dinner — about 5pm we grab Bret in the lobby and head for Toby Keith’s I love this bar! Well I have to say this is the second visit this year and it sucked. I am offically taking it off the list of must dos when we come to Vegas. We were seated and about 5-10 minutes later she came to take our dinner order. Well how about our drinks? We order and forever goes by, here finally comes our appetizer. Thank goodness I was starving. One minute later here came dinner, all right now I am pissed off. Got the appetizer to go so now I have lunch tomorrow. I think I should write Toby a letter.
Walked Kerry to his conference, omg that was like 2 miles — not really but it felt like it. I came back to get some drinks… er I mean gamble. I couldn’t find a machine that I liked, but I did get two free black russians. 🙂
It’s about quarter after 8 and I am back in the room getting ready to work on the pictures.
