By Tamera, on May 15th, 2008 Being the analyst that I am and the breaker of all things good I really enjoy poking at new technologies. Mostly because it is a great opportunity for me to tell you just how bad/stupid or broken it is. Rarely comes the time when I am 100% satisfied with a product. I generally am left with a feeling of damn they almost made it. 😉 So now I want to talk about a couple of these things I have been poking at.

By Tamera, on May 15th, 2008 You know people are just weird. Someone tagged one of my pictures as their favorite, it’s bacon cooking in the oven.
Yesterday I had KLT turn the car around so I could yell at some kid who was throwing rocks “at” cars. The big kids near him said it was no problem if you throw them on the ground. Seriously! KLT asked why I was so shitty to the kid. Good greif!

By Tamera, on May 13th, 2008 ‘When you’re driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that’s a ‘post turtle. You know he didn’t get up there by himself, he doesn’t belong up there, he doesn’t know what to do while he is up there, and you just want to help the dumb ass get down.’
By Tamera, on April 19th, 2008 So I have been on this quest for a pair of wide legged jeans. I also have the requirements of not wanting waist bands and belt loops needing more of a flat front. This has led me to purchase some denim and use the trouser pattern I have to make a pair myself. I have been working on this all week and have had a few struggles. Like washing the material made a HUGE mess in the washer and dryer. So yesterday the pants were at the point where you can hold them up and see that they will be pants with only one problem. They are 6 feet wide. . . . → Read More: Damn it!
By Tamera, on April 16th, 2008 I generally make it a policy to not post from work but today I feel the need to make an exception. I just need to get this off my chest! What is wrong with this world? EVERYTHING!
Last night we decided that mowing the lawn and ordering pizza was a good idea. For the record this will be the last order to Papa Johns! My 12 pizza and some “cheese” sticks came to $21.00. Apparently they charge a delivery fee. No tip for you dude, talk to Papa John he collected $2 for delivery. Here are the notable things, while the prices of their pizzas and other menu items have . . . → Read More: What is wrong with this world?
By Tamera, on April 14th, 2008 Ok <rant> does not even begin to tell you what is about to happen here!
First let me start with Saturday. I went shopping because my Friday night plans got totally fucked up. It’s all good. The 16 year old check out operator at Wal*Mart decided she needed to SEE my credit card and compare my signatures. As if she is some sort of handwriting analyst or expert. WHAT THE CRAP EVAR!
Next I want to tell you about the major disappointment, a disappointment so big that I can’t tell you the last time I was this unhappy. We went to La Scala, absolutely my second favorite restaurant in town . . . → Read More: SO FAR
By Tamera, on April 10th, 2008 Well I bet you are wondering where my pictures are and if I am taking any. I am taking pictures, not every day but I try. The reason you are not seeing them and the reason I am not posting is that work sucks. I don’t mean it’s OMG busy and I am tired. I mean it’s the kind of suck that is SUCKING the life out of me. I really am just trying to avoid working on the computer as to not see the work mail and to not feel like I am working. 🙁

By Tamera, on April 3rd, 2008 Well I am not allowed to talk about this but I guess blogging is not really talking.
Tonight we ran out to dinner and stopped to pick up a few things after that we’d stop at the eagles to enter the daily draw and the weekly. We get there and discover it is STAG NIGHT. Are you fucking kidding me. Like everything they do is stag you have to have a fucking party to? Seriously if you are a memeber of any one of these types of organizaitons and you wonder why memebership is down and why you can’t attract younger memebers well STFU and listen — THIS IS . . . → Read More: Still? By Tamera, on April 2nd, 2008 “Many people have asked me what to do about their toxic bosses. You should know that while 50% of people seem like jerks, only 10% actually are. The remaining 40% are just insecure. They have personal issues and feel unsafe. They tweak people because they expect negative reactions and results. Try to give your difficult boss a feeling of immense safety by refusing to react and being rational in the face of irrationality. Do not feed into the frenzy and be very respectful. If your boss continues to act badly and is evil or it’s just not worth the effort, honor yourself and hopefully you’ve applied my principles so you . . . → Read More: Food for thought
