So I have to play a little catch up. Yesterday was totally consumed by a family Christmas Dinner. Where I might add the 50-something acted worse than a 10 year old. I plan on cleaning, cooking for the holiday and wrapping presents. I made 6 large sheets of wrapping paper, you know they just don’t make paper with BLACK in it. So last night was poker night. I decided what a good time to go christmas shopping. GOOD GREIF there were a lot of people out doing the same. So after a long day of work I wonder around Lafayette until 12 AM. Did you know that at 11:55 pm Wal*Mart shuts down EVERY register in the store until 12:10 am? What the crap? Oh well I guess to be technically correct after midnight it is really 12/9. Kerry and I got our first DOE of the season. No really she hit us. We were just feet from the turn into my subdivision, when out of no where (from behind the a pillar is what KLT says) popped this bid DOE. And the outcome of this event has left such a terrible taste in my mouth that I WILL NEVER eat at Moe’s again and I will certainly not recommend their catering. There are other burrito places to get catering from (Qudoba, Chitpole)! First they ordered the steak fajita bar for 10. We got chicken and ground beef. That is a far cry from steak. The grilled green peppers and onions was about enough for 2 people, I have seen more on a fajita platter from Pepe”s. There is nothing going on, just spending time in the house. I painted some figurines for Christmas decorations. I picked them up last year after Christmas, yes I realize that has been like 11 months ago. I painted two and it took some part of 2 days and today I started the 3rd. Funny how the bigger figures have less detail than the smaller. Someone is a sick bastard.
