OK here we are it is Tuesday just one week before the First Timer event. I was told that you should have all received an email invitation to a networking event on Tuesday. It is for first time attendees only. I didn’t get one so I am not sure about any of the details, if you didn’t get the email or aren’t sure please let me know so I can get that resent to you. There is a blurb about it on the First Timer page.
Tuesday night I will be at the First Timer welcome a bit early to get my sign so we can finally meet. There will be a short program of sorts and then we will make our entrance to the Welcome Reception. I am really looking forward to meeting everyone!
First-Timers Orientation Meeting – Meet other first-timers while trying out your new networking know-how. Hear from PASS Board member Thomas LaRock on what to expect from your week at Summit. The orientation meeting will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2012 starting at 5:15pm.
This is me; I thought it might help you find me in a crowd. I am short (5’4”) and blonde. I more than likely won’t have my sunglasses on Tuesday night but all bets are off for the rest of the week.
How is the packing/planning/getting stuff done going? I am seeing a large trend in my online #sqlfamily who just can’t focus this week, too excited. I woke up happy this morning for once because I realized it was actually Tuesday and not Wednesday. This means I have one more day to get stuff ready.
