Nashville’s newest Pass Chapter

If you have known me for very long you know that Kerry and I have been talking about starting a Business Intelligence user group here in Nashville for about a year. At first we were just going to do some additional meetings under the SQL user group’s umbrella. We thought that working as a lager group could be better for both groups. However we finally discovered that BI was huge and there was a lot of interest in it. Just looking at MeetUp there are 3-4 data related groups.

We are pleased to announce the launch of a new PASS chapter here in Nashville. The Nashville Business Intelligence user group’s goal is to build a community of data loving individuals so that we can share experiences and help each other learn. We are an official PASS chapter.

Join the SharePoint and Modern Excel user groups as we kick-off this new user group in style on Tuesday, February 10th. Our first meeting will be co-meeting with these groups for a evening of fun, mingling, getting to know each other and a great presentation! For this special event we will be meeting at the Hyatt Place Brentwood.

We will have a short meeting (30 minutes) to discuss the direction of the new user group. Come prepared with ideas of what you’d like to see for this user group, how you’d like to see us build community and anything else you want to share.

5 PM – 6 PM Meet the Community, networking & food will arrive during this time.
6 PM Meeting/Discussion about the user group.
6:30 PM – 7:30 PM Craig Utley presents
7:30 PM Wrap-up and prize drawing

We ask that you RSVP so we can order enough food and have enough chairs!
