So today my boss was late to our regularly scheduled meeting due to a meeting prior. By Tamera, on January 15th, 2008% Boy yesterday late morning I discovered it was going to be a long weekend and it just changed everything!! 🙂 <– Where is the Macaulay Culkin smiley face when you need it. To make things even better the interest rates have dropped, I can refinance and save about 68 a month. Closing cost are less cause we don’t have to redo everything. My credit rating is way up. If I make the same payment I have been making I will cut like 8 years off the loan. What a beautiful day, except for the wind chill and the lack of RED ROCK outside my window. 😉

By Tamera, on January 14th, 2008% I really hate my job so much that it is painful to get up in the morning. Here it is 8:16, I am ready to go. The Kitchen is clean, diswasher unloaded and loaded, 2 pans soaking, counters scrubbed, sink scrubbed and all back to normal. Last night we had Chicken Enchlada’s. One of my favorite things. So there were margarita’s and guack. What a mess I made. When I get my “forever” house I plan on having 2 dishwashers. No such luck, but there will be a drawing next week for 2800. (seems that the dollar amount is getting less, not sure why) Then dinner at Pepe’s and a quick trip to the mall for Kerry to get some clothes. What a deal, we found him like 4 shirts for 8 dollars or less each.

By Tamera, on January 11th, 2008% OK so here I sit. For some reason I really don’t want to be here alone, hell I really don’t want to be here. Maybe it’s cause I had to sit here and wait for the furnace guy. But oh well.
Speaking of furnace guy. It cost me 94 dollars for the guy to come out and bang on the furnace with a screwdriver and get the furnace running. Today it cost me 114 dollars for them to come and fix it correctly, part and all. BTW it took all of 1.5 minutes. Yes that is what I said. SERIOUSLY!

By Tamera, on January 9th, 2008% Well so towards the end of last week I tried to keep myself busy and off my laptop/computer/pda in an attempt to prepare for returning to work. I thought keeping busy would keep my mind off of it. So it appears to everyone that I am a little behind but really I meant to do that. Did it help? I don’t really know the answer to that.

By Tamera, on January 4th, 2008% lets just say that 9.5 hrs are spent in work mode (8+1hr lunch+(2x)15 min commute) and 8 hours spent sleeping (-all minutes spent sleepless worring about work) that leaves 6.5 to yourself (- cooking, cleaning, laundry and taking care of the neccessities – you know getting ready for work). Which of these define you? Which of these chuncks of time are how you will be remembered? Which of theses chunks get the most of your attention? Which of these do you cut short? Which of these do you waste?
By Tamera, on January 3rd, 2008% Well today I did some sewing and designing. I crafted a pattern and a prototype of a laptop bag. The only problem is that the current sample is made of a very thin material and it is impossible to “test” it. I took a lot of pictures while working on this.
Finally showered. 😛 No really.
