Friday, Here I am.

OK so here I sit. For some reason I really don’t want to be here alone, hell I really don’t want to be here. Maybe it’s cause I had to sit here and wait for the furnace guy. But oh well.

Speaking of furnace guy. It cost me 94 dollars for the guy to come out and bang on the furnace with a screwdriver and get the furnace running. Today it cost me 114 dollars for them to come and fix it correctly, part and all. BTW it took all of 1.5 minutes. Yes that is what I said. SERIOUSLY!

SERIOUSLY! I should of saved that for St. Louis. . . . → Read More: Friday, Here I am.

Picture of the day

Well it is difficult to get a picture of the day while spending a fair chunk of it at a funeral. Not exactly the time or place to take photos, although I did shoot one of my shoe with my phone yesterday ๐Ÿ˜‰

Today’s shot is something I noticed as we returned home.

An attenuator is an electronic device that reduces the amplitude or power of a signal without appreciably distorting its waveform. Attenuators are usually passive devices made from resistors. The degree of attenuation may be fixed, continuously adjustable, or incrementally adjustable. — THANKS WIKIPEDIA This makes sense to you right? Ok then can you explain it to me. . . . → Read More: Picture of the day

I’m Back

Well so towards the end of last week I tried to keep myself busy and off my laptop/computer/pda in an attempt to prepare for returning to work. I thought keeping busy would keep my mind off of it. So it appears to everyone that I am a little behind but really I meant to do that. Did it help? I don’t really know the answer to that.

Today is not such a good day. My great-aunt died Saturday, so last night was the showing and today was the funeral. Once again I get to see what a horrible person my mother is. It’s a terrible shame because I hate . . . → Read More: I’m Back

:(

lets just say that 9.5 hrs are spent in work mode (8+1hr lunch+(2x)15 min commute) and 8 hours spent sleeping (-all minutes spent sleepless worring about work) that leaves 6.5 to yourself (- cooking, cleaning, laundry and taking care of the neccessities – you know getting ready for work). Which of these define you? Which of these chuncks of time are how you will be remembered? Which of theses chunks get the most of your attention? Which of these do you cut short? Which of these do you waste?

Smoking Ban

<RANT> I am getting sick of hearing about smoking bans. Now I am not a smoker but I do believe that companies should be able to decide for themselves the smoking allowed in their establishment. I am tired of hearing about how smoking runs up insurance is bad for your health and etc. The government should be limited to creating smoking bans for government owned facilities. CAL is making laws preventing smoking around small children. REALLY! You won’t stop the stupid from breeding but you stop smokers from smoking in their car with their kids? There are just so many things wrong with this. OK I have to stop and . . . → Read More: Smoking Ban

Wednesday

Well today I did some sewing and designing. I crafted a pattern and a prototype of a laptop bag. The only problem is that the current sample is made of a very thin material and it is impossible to “test” it. I took a lot of pictures while working on this.

Finally showered. ๐Ÿ˜› No really.

So today’s picture tells a story.

A whole new year!

Well I didn’t play catch up yesterday cause I was just having too much fun checking out this website recommended by Dan. etsy.com is an ebay like site that sells only handmade items. I spent hours just looking at all the things. Also yesterday I got tied up in this idea given to me by Dan’s wife Tara. OMG I think I can make some $$. Their dog has these bandannas that he wears. They are really neat instead of tying around his neck they actually slide over his collar. Excellent! I have some scraps laying around so I worked on making a pattern and a couple demo pieces. Monday the am

Real quick while I wait on KLT to get ready for a run to the store. The HAVAC guy was just here cost me $94 for him to come out. ๐Ÿ™ He made a temorary fix and will have to order the part on Wednesday. Looks like we are going to be staying in town now. ๐Ÿ™

Gotta run.

sunday what a day

Well Mr. Popejoy came over after church, funny how he makes you feel like one of his children. Appears the board is out on my furnace and that he can’t really get the part. I mean he can but the Lennox dealer (korchots) will jack up the price of the part. I have direct knowledge that they jacked up a 36 dollar part by 50 bucks because someone else was installing it. So I have called Korchots based on Jim’s recommendation. I am waiting till tomorrow for them to come out. Seems that I will save 30% on the service call. WHAT THE CRAP? Mr. Popejoy didn’t charge a trip . . . → Read More: sunday what a day

sunday

Well we stopped at the Eagles last night to watch the patriots and have a drink. I am sure my step-dad is thrilled, the Pats are his team. I sent him a couple text messages to let him know I was watching. ๐Ÿ™‚

So this morning just before 4 am I discover that I am in bed alone. I wonder around the house and can’t find KLT. What the heck? This place isn’t that big. He is in the “laundry” room with the door closed, oh and I have to add he is wrapped in a blanket. He was suffering from an unhappy tummy and determined that it was . . . → Read More: sunday
